Image Fit Modes
Fit — Scales the image to fill the page while preserving aspect ratio. Leaves white bars if the aspect ratios differ (letterbox).
Fill — Scales and crops the image to completely fill the page with no bars. May clip edges.
Stretch — Stretches the image to exactly fill the page, ignoring aspect ratio.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser using the jsPDF JavaScript library and the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are read locally and the PDF is generated entirely on your device. No data leaves your computer.
How many images can I add?
There's no hard limit — each image becomes one page in the PDF. Very large numbers of high-resolution images may take a few seconds to process as the browser compresses each one.
What does "Fit to Image" page size do?
Instead of using a fixed page size (A4, Letter, etc.), each page is sized exactly to match the pixel dimensions of the corresponding image. Useful for preserving exact image sizes without any scaling.
What quality setting should I use?
High (97%) gives the best visual quality but produces larger files. Medium (85%) is a good balance for most use cases. Low (65%) is best for sharing via email where file size matters most.
Can I convert a PDF back to images?
